His sole purpose in life is to become a loveable companion. Therefore, in order to be successful in training a Bulldog it takes patience and consistency. If you are the proud owner of a Bulldog you should be prepared to deal with his stubbornness. It is very true that Bulldog training problems can be overcome with complete understanding of the temperament of the dog.Many pet stores have training classes that can help you get a handle on how to train your Bulldog. But the class itself is what it is and you, as the owner, must follow up with a daily training schedule. With Bulldogs, because of the stubborn nature of the breed, it may be that this schedule is repeated two or three times a day. A nice long walk once or twice a day will also help with his training.Pet stores normally have training classes for dogs, Bulldogs in particular. But these classes alone will not break through your dog's stubbornness. You must keep him on a daily regimen of walking and training several times a day, seven days a week in order for him to adhere to your obedience commands. But your daily routine is what will make the dog your own.Bulldog problems are small, but are common in all Bulldogs and need to be addressed. You will never be able to conquer their stubbornness completely, but by conquering the training stubbornness you will have created almost a perfect pet.When choosing a new Bulldog puppy be sure to speak to the owners of the litter and ask them about the traits of the parents. Your Bulldog should have no other discernable problem then a stubborn streak.
